Alexander Zaltsman

Alex Zaltsman is the RF Group Leader for Collider-Accelerator Department (C-AD) and the RF Group Leader for the Electron-Ion Collider at Brookhaven National Lab. During his 36+ years in C-AD, he has been involved in the design, development, and installation of RF systems for all of the accelerators in the RHIC complex. Alex was RF group leader and lead RF engineer for the Spallation Neutron Source project responsible for the accumulator ring. Recently, he has been the RF lead engineer for the Coherent electron Cooling proof of principle project, the Low Energy RHIC electron Cooling project. Alex received his BSEE from The Polytechnic Institute of New York.
