Guitarist Peter Fletcher

All are invited to Berkner Hall at noon on Wednesday, March 11, when guitarist Peter Fletcher will perform music including Bach's E-Minor Lute Suite, Grieg's Usher-Waltz, Andrew York's Sunburst, music by Weiss and Reusner, and Carlo Domeniconi's Koyunbaba.Sponsored by Brookhaven Science Associates, the concert is free and open to the public. Visitors to the Lab 16 and older must carry a photo ID.

Fletcher received a Master of Music degree from the Eastman School of Music in 1995, and was twice the recipient of an Eastman Graduate Award. He has given recitals at venues from California to Illinois to Delaware. He made his New York debut in February 2007 at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall, where he is scheduled to return this month. His many radio and television appearances included Storyline on the Turner Broadcasting System, Fox-affiliate WAGA-TV's Good Day Atlanta, NBC Lima News WLIO in Ohio, KCSC in Oklahoma City and Long Island's Public Radio WLIU 88.3 FM. His current CD release, Peter Fletcher Plays Baroque Music for Guitar appeared last October on the Tower Hill Records label.
