Brookhaven was well represented at two conferences earlier this month: Nanotech 2009 and TechConnect Summit 2009, held in conjunction with each other in Houston, Texas, on May 3-7. Pam Ciufo, Aaron Stein and Grace Webster from the Center for Functional Nanomaterials joined staff from the other four DOE Nano Science Research Centers at a display booth to promote their capabilities and attract users. Kimberley Elcess, Office of Intellectual Property, presented four Brookhaven technologies to potential corporate partners, investors, and technology specialists, all to encourage commercialization of taxpayer-funded research.
