The international light source community should look to lightsources.org as a resource. Supported by more than 20 synchrotrons and free electron lasers from around the world, lightsources.org provides online news, information, and educational materials about photon science facilities. Content to the website is provided by communicators at the various facilities.
A recent visit to the homepage featured the press release X-rays Reveal an Unfinished Self-Portrait by Rembrandt van Rijn, with links to ESRF and NSLS. That same page carried a link to jobs, including a listing for a NEXT beamline staff engineer.
You are invited to complete a short survey on the kinds of information you would like to see on the website, which is now being reviewed for changes to content and design.
