Controlled Access

1. Before requesting access, complete all required training shown in the Access Training Matrix (PDF).
2. Then, email the AD Training Group to request access to the area(s) needed.

Basics for Entry to Accelerator Enclosures Under Controlled Access

• During controlled access (CA), entry and exit into the accelerator enclosure is remotely controlled by the Main Control Room.
• If the procedure for entry is violated, the result can be a costly delay to beam operations.
• If you have questions, ask! You may contact the MCR Group or the Training Group for assistance.
• You may also access the Access Training study guides on the training website for further questions about entry to accelerator enclosures.
• Repeated violations may require requalification on Access Training.
