Brookhaven Forum 2021

Opening New Windows to the Universe (BF2021)

Dates: November 3–5, 2021

This meeting will be held as a virtual event.

Motivation

After decades of intense theoretical and experimental effort, a number of fundamental questions remain open in particle physics and cosmology. The BF2021 scientific program will aim to explore new conceptual frameworks and experimental methods that can help establish innovative approaches to addressing those questions and arriving at a deeper understanding of Nature, in the coming years. Talks will be arranged in both plenary and parallel sessions, on virtual platforms.

If you would like to present a parallel talk (15+5 minutes), you'll have a chance to provide a title or topic in the registration form. Further event notifications will be sent once plenary speakers are confirmed and parallel sessions are formulated. The final event agenda and URL will be sent to all registrants directly closer to the start of the event.

Great Expectations, a New Chapter

Motivation

"Brookhaven Forum 2015 (BF2015): Great Expectations, a New Chapter" will be held at Brookhaven National Laboratory, Upton, NY, USA, October 7-9, 2015. The scientific program will be devoted to new developments in high energy physics, with an emphasis on the latest data from the LHC. Part of the agenda will be dedicated to topics in cosmology and astrophysics, as well as physics at the intensity frontier. Talks will be arranged in both plenary and parallel sessions.

Three years after the landmark discovery of the Higgs boson in Run I at the LHC, 2015 marks the start of Run II and we are all eagerly awaiting the findings at 13 TeV LHC, in its ongoing exploration of the Tera scale.

A Space-Time Odyssey

Motivation

Brookhaven Forum (BF) 2010 will be held at Brookhaven National Laboratory, Upton, NY, USA, May 26-28, 2010. Assessment of the status of the LHC experiments and the early data from them will be one of the main purposes of this event. Key results from Fermilab will also be reviewed. A substantial part of the agenda will be devoted to new developments in laboratory experiments and astrophysical observations that are relevant to outstanding questions in cosmology.

Talks will be scheduled in both plenary and parallel sessions. We hope that the discussions at BF2010 will be a prelude to a new era of scientific discoveries that will revolutionize and deepen our understanding of Nature.

Motivation
