The Science and Anthropology of Comedy: Lessons for Academics
How is laughter a symptom of connection and how can academics use it strategically for impactful STEM or daily communication? When talking about research, there are plenty of methods and media that allow us to connect our message to specific target audiences (whether they are the general public, policymakers, patients, stakeholders, bosses, or team members). She'll also share some strategic lessons academics and researchers can take from a comedian's work to apply to what you do.
