Note to staff and users: In order to increase the visibility of our research and our scientists, it is important to alert CFN leadership and Brookhaven Lab's Media & Communications Office (genzer@bnl.gov and skossman@bnl.gov) when submitting high-impact or strategically important papers, or ahead of honors/awards. Interviewing, writing, and completing internal and external reviews can take two weeks or longer, so the earlier you let them know—even prior to the paper being accepted—the earlier they can plan with CFN management what to cover and have an approved release ready to send out to media when the paper publishes—or, even better, sent to media under embargo prior to the publication date.
