Sensors in the STEM Classroom
Using Sensors in the STEM Classroom is a one-week work that will introduce secondary STEM educators to the skills needed to integrate technology and coding techniques into scientific investigations across STEM subject areas. Participants will spend the week onsite at BNL exploring sensor-based scientific investigations that utilize computational skills.
Participants will meet renowned BNL research staff through activities, guest lectures, and facility tours, as they learn more about opportunities and research across the Department of Energy National Laboratory complex. Participants will identify a computational and/or sensor-based STEM activity for implementation in their classroom.
