SkillBridge Internship Program for Active Duty Military

SkillBridge, a Department of Defense program, offers training and internships to transitioning service members through authorized organizations like Brookhaven National laboratory.

The program provides active-duty military members separating within 120 days of service with internship opportunities in a variety of roles. This program provides a comprehensive internship experience including professional development, networking with leadership, and training specifically focused on Brookhaven Laboratory leadership principles, history, science initiatives, facilities and operations, customer/stakeholder engagement, and core job responsibilities.

During the 12-week program, participants will maintain their DoD salaries. With successful completion of the program, participants may be extended full time job offers just in time for their military transition.

Eligible active duty service members are enouraged to register online for SkillBridge. Registering will allow you to:
