UPTON, NY - Vocalist Ishan Johnson, a Riverhead native and the youngest soloist ever to sing with the Boston Symphony Orchestra, will give a performance at the U.S. Department of Energy's Brookhaven National Laboratory on Wednesday, May 18, at noon in Berkner Hall Auditorium. Sponsored by Brookhaven Science Associates, the company that manages Brookhaven Lab, the concert is free and open to the public. All visitors to the Laboratory age 16 and older must bring a photo ID.
At the age of 21, Ishan Johnson performs repertoire ranging from Baroque vocal works, oratorio, and opera to contemporary vocal works.
