2023
2023 NSLS-II & CFN Joint Users' Meeting
Date: April 24–28, 2023
Motivation
We invite all to join us for the National Synchrotron Light Source II (NSLS-ll), Center for Functional Nanomaterials (CFN) and Laboratory for BioMolecular Structure (LBMS) Users' Meeting from April 24–28, 2023. This year's meeting will be held virtually. The sessions will offer scientists from diverse disciplines an opportunity to share their work in synchrotron radiation, nanoscale, materials, and biological sciences.
In addition, we will be holding a satellite workshop on Friday, April 14 to update the NSLS-II community on the status of NEXT-III—the project by which the next set of beamlines will be selected, designed, and built at NSLS-II. The mission need statement for NEXT-III was approved by the Department of Energy in September 2022 and the beamline selection process is currently underway for the first set of beamlines to be built under the NEXT-III project.
Here is the list of beamline proposals currently being considered. If you would like to propose a new beamline that is not on this list, to be considered for the next set of beamlines to be built under the NEXT-III project, please complete this template and send it to wklee@bnl.gov.
Registration is required to attend the NEXT-III satellite workshop and the Users' Meeting.
