Amalie Emmy Noether Fellowship
Current and Previous Fellows
Sanket Jantre (2022—2024)
Sanket Jantre received his doctorate degree in statistics in 2022 from Michigan State University. He is broadly interested in the confluence of Bayesian Statistics and Machine Learning methods, focusing on Bayesian Deep Learning models.
Natalie Isenberg (2021—2023)
Natalie Isenberg earned her doctorate in chemical engineering in 2021 from Carnegie Mellon University. Her thesis work fits broadly within the disciplines of mathematical programming and process systems engineering with an emphasis on equation-oriented model development and optimization algorithm design for complex decision-making problems. As a doctoral student, Natalie was the Carnegie Mellon University College of Engineering Presidential Fellow and Department of Energy, Office of Science Graduate Student Research (SCGSR) Fellow. In addition, she received several university-level awards for teaching and educational outreach activities, including the Mark Dennis Karl Outstanding Graduate Teaching Assistant Award and the Gelfand Student Service Award. Her current research interests are in the application of mathematical optimization modeling and methods for informed small molecule discovery.
