Champions Program

Program Overview
This is a two-day program provides university and college representatives from emerging research institutions with exposure to DOE user facilities, networking with scientific community, and understanding criteria for selection in the Workforce Development for Teachers and Scientists (WDTS) programs. Participants develop awareness about the opportunities and requirements for the WDTS faculty program and student internships becoming recruitment ambassadors for the lab and DOE.

Program Benefits
There is no cost for travel or housing for invited guests, this experience is funded by DOE WDTS.
Eligibility Criteria
Attending university and college representatives must be U.S. Citizens or Lawful Permanet Resident (LPR).
Please note: Applicants with a LPR status be aware that offers to participate are subject to change based on approval for site access prior to the planned start date.
