Awards and Honors
- Mark Hybertsen, former group leader for Theory and Computation, was recently awarded Brookhaven Lab emeritus status, which recognizes scientists making noteworthy contributions to the Lab’s reputation as a world-class scientific institution. Hybertsen is the first CFN scientist to be granted Brookhaven Lab emeritus status.
- A team of eight CFN staff and postdocs participated in a 5K race at the American Vacuum Society Annual Meeting in Portland, Oregon, placing first in the team competition.
