Note to staff and users: In order to increase the visibility of our research and our scientists, it is important to alert CFN leadership and Brookhaven Lab's Media & Communications Office (genzer@bnl.gov and skossman@bnl.gov) when submitting high-impact or strategically important papers, or ahead of honors/awards. Interviewing, writing, and completing internal and external reviews can take two weeks or longer, so the earlier you let them know — even prior to the paper being accepted — the earlier they can plan with CFN management what to cover and have an approved release ready to send out to media when the paper publishes — or, even better, sent to media under embargo prior to the publication date.
