X9 is an undulator-based beamline specialized in X-ray scattering, in both transmission and grazing incident geometry, at both small and wide scattering angles. The experiments supported by X9 span a broad range of research fields, including structural biology, soft matter physics, biophysics and material science. Many of these user research projects were transferred from beamline X21A1.

For more information on this instrument and/or discuss the feasibility of your experiment, please contact a beamline staff (listed to the right) whose expertise best match your research.
