2008 Veggie Club

If you are interested in organically grown vegetables, this is for you!  Fill out the attached form and send to  Ruth Comas, Bldg. 488 by May 23rd.  The season runs June thru November. Vegetables are delivered every Thursday for you to pick up at noon.  Sign-up form

~ Summer Student Pool Hours:  4pm-8:30pm FREE, NO Charge!!
 
~ Summer Student Gym Use: 11am-3:30pm and 5-9pm for Basketball, Badminton, Volleyball FREE, NO Charge!! (NO use during camp from 3:30-5pm)

~ Summer Student ASAP Use:  Current fulltime members are being generous and allowing you access. You must follow the rules & be considerate of all users and the facility. Privileges will be removed if there are any problems or messes.
 

About BERA

BERA was established to promote and regulate Laboratory-wide recreational and social activities at Brookhaven National Laboratory which is administered by the Quality of Life/BERA/Recreation Office, located in Bldg. 400. BERA oversees the many clubs and organizations, and assists in the administration of the overall program and the use of available recreational facilities on-site. See a complete list of BERA Clubs.

BERA members are employees and retirees of BNL, BSA, or the Brookhaven Area Office of the U.S. Department of Energy, and members of their immediate families; persons with BNL or BSA guest, user, and visiting appointments, and members of their immediate families; employees of permanent on-site employers (such as the cafeteria, credit union, Upton Post Office, etc.), and members of their immediate families. You are a BERA member when you receive your photo ID badge and life number. Tours of all facilities may also be arranged by calling the Recreation office at 344-2873.
