Key Capabilities

Small beam spot size (down to 10 µm) possible

  • can be used to study textured samples, fibers, or microfluidic devices
  • small beam footprint in grazing incident geometry

Energy range (2.1-20 keV)

  • ASAXS/MAD for lipid membrane structures (P), liquid crystals (S)
  • penetration through thick samples

Simultaneous SAXS/WAXS

  • SAXS camera length up to 5m; WAXS camera length ~20cm
  • typical combined q range for solution scattering: 0.005Å-1 - 2.0Å-1
  • transmission SAXS/WAXS and GISAXS / GID both possible
