There are a few important ways we need you to get involved to assist the Center in the upcoming months:
Save the Date for the October 6th All Hands Meeting!
As mentioned in the Director’s Message, the long anticipated, in-person C2QA all-hands meeting will be held Thursday, Oct. 6, 2022, at Yale University. In addition to highlighting center-wide activities and results, investigators are strongly encouraged to submit flash talks within the three thrust areas: Materials, Devices, and Software, which will highlight results presented in the poster session. All investigative groups are required to co-contribute at least one poster highlighting their C2QA contributions.
Seed Funding
If you are a postdoc, the call for Seed funding has been released. We have two preparatory meetings in advance of the August 24 deadline. July 20 is a proposal writing workshop. Please reach out to me (kaimeifu@uw.edu) if you need additional information.
Workforce Development
Finally, please take a moment to read about upcoming C2QA Outreach, Education, and Workforce Development events. In particular, please each out to me or Diana if you can volunteer or nominate a C2QA member (faculty, staff scientist, or postdoc) to be a Spring 2023 Quantum Thursdays speaker.
