Join us for our strategic planning workshop, Exploring New Science Frontiers at NSLS-II, October 21-23, 2019

Strategic Planning Workshop

We are excited to invite you to our strategic planning workshop, Exploring New Science Frontiers at NSLS-II, taking place October 21-23, 2019. This workshop will bring together you—our user community—Brookhaven Lab staff, and invited experts from various scientific areas to identify the most pressing and interesting grand challenges in their fields. Our goal is to discuss how these challenges can be address with our current technology and to explore ways in which future capabilities at NSLS-II can have impact on these questions. Together with you, we would like to launch the process of identifying a potential set of new beamlines at NSLS-II.

The workshop will cover the following science areas:

  • Biosystems, earth, and environment
  • Catalysis and chemical sciences
  • Materials and engineering sciences
  • Molecular and cell biology
  • Quantum materials
  • Soft matter research

Registration to the workshop is required and free of charge. The registration deadline is Monday, September 23, 2019.
