Off-site Housing Apartment Rates & Info

Users of this service communicate and contract with each other individually and at their own risk.

Apartments in Private Homes

Apartments in private homes can be furnished or unfurnished. Most apartments generally include all utilities except for telephone and cable.

Local Apartment Communities & Rates

Most units are unfurnished. Units in apartment communities include heat and water while the tenant is responsible for electric, telephone and cable.

Rents are based on figures from January 2004. In general, you can expect to see an increase in rental rates each year. Rental costs vary depending upon location, demand, utilities, amenities, and the time of year. Individual costs depend upon the number of people sharing the unit. "Good deals" are obtainable with some effort and research. By constantly checking with our office, you can effectively get a "jump" on the more reasonable rentals.

The current fair market rents depend on location. Generally, they are as follows:

Studio $600 - $1000
One bedroom units $800 - $1200
Two bedroom units $950 - $1500
Three bedroom units $1500 - $2200

As a service to visitors and guests, the Laboratory provides the opportunity for individuals, companies, and firms to publicize available Off-site housing. Although the Laboratory reviews all information posted, there may be changes or deletions without notice. The Laboratory reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to edit listings and refuse those listings it deems inappropriate for this service or which do not support the Laboratory policies on non-discrimination.
